About the Artist
Cloudburst - Sounds like your favourite band
The 4 members of Cloudburst hail from Hesse, Germany. On their debut album "Do Me A Favour And Die" which has been released in 2009 in Itunes stores all around the world, many influences of the vast world of Rock, Pop and Metal melt into hard yet catchy Rock music. Cloudburst have a certain affinity for playing their instruments loud, heavy and fast while the clean, catchy vocals of their british singer Max burn the melodies right into the listeners' brain where they'll stay from then on.
Those with open ears have to acknowledge the truth: When you want to listen to heavy music these days you either 1) have to listen to Metalcore stuff with the same repeating growl-clean verse-chorus pattern, surrounded by fake computerized guitars or 2) you have to listen to falsetto-embracing Power Metal that might sound great for your Dungeons & Dragons night, but doesn't have anything to do with actual life. Where are the melodies? Where are the vocal lines that you can sing along to without having to pull out your sword? Where is the groove? Has it died together with Nu Metal? Where is the life? Is a guitar sound really better if it has been enhanced with all kinds of computer tunes?
YOU KNOW: You should have something different. Some music that unites all that you like in heavy music. That unites the reasons WHY you listen to heavy music in the first place: You want to bang your head - you want to freak out because of the sweet licks you hear - you want to sing along to the music - you want your anger reliefed by empowering lyrics - you want to move your feet to the beat of a fierce, accurately executed double bass drum.
You want to listen to Cloudburst.
