Since graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Performance from Purchase College of Music in Westchester, NY, Stix has had the opportunity to perform with established NYC poets* The Vibe Khameleons, Ms. Jessica Care Moore,and The Last Poets* as well as such legendary hip-hop acts* Doug E. Fresh, De La Soul, Mos Def, The Last Poets, Gil Scott Heron, and Rahzel of the Roots.He has toured colleges and performed at clubs, & festivals across the country and abroad such as: *Harvard University, PAC at Purchase College, Sundance Film Festival, JVC Jazz festival, Minton's Playhouse, The Apollo Theater, The Minetta Lane Theater, The Blue Note London UK, and Le Boute De Jazz Paris, France.
