About the Artist
Conceived in 2004 in a Claremont McKenna dorm room with questionable stains on the floor and formed shortly thereafter in an underground rehearsal room with questionable stains on the ceiling, Double Stamp started out with big dreams: we wanted to play campus parties. Of course, we also had other aspirations. Dan wanted to get girls and Greg needed another reason not to go to class. With most of our initial goals met, and Travis churning out new material at the staggering pace of two songs every 22 years, we turned our attention to recording. In May 2005 we headed to DM Gremlin studios in Long Beach - most of us at least; a certain lead guitar player had a court date in Maryland - and a day later dropped the hottest album this side of Nellyville.
Ever since, we have been constantly crafting new material, with new songs debuted at every show so far this year. We are almost ready to head to the studio to put together a full-length LP. Until then, we're playing whenever and wherever we can, so keep an eye out for our announcements.
